What do your walls say?
From studies of languid missions somewhat asleep to the strengthening lines of city awnings overhead, these collections stem from a love for the personality of shapes in our lives. Shapes often convey a sense of character to the soul or influence the mind's understanding of what tones a living space projects. Triangles often emit strength and circles speak to warmth and embrace. Lines may be organic as well as arch-tectonic (or more straight than curved). The point is to find out what your room is trying to say and then compliment it. Straight or curved? What do your walls say?
There is another world aside and apart from the lines of the city; and in it is a city unto itself. What else can bring harmony to a room of modernity and boldening lines than a elegant window to nature? Literally, it can be a softened or sometimes dramatic viewpoint of the world outside that adds depth and respite to our busy lives. Many of us do not have the opportunity or time needed for nature to remind us of the beauty of life. Its abilities are vast in recharging us and grounding us to an essence of living: enjoying every hour and every breath in the beauty of the world around you. Society sometimes stresses the need for this essence, but these "windows" remind us everyday.

Have there ever been atmospheres or moods that you swore you could reach out and touch; that there maybe something a little more to the air than what is just there to breathe? The masters of light that we love have seen light as a ‘tangible’ force in their work and perspective for centuries now. The following galleries are examples of an affair we have with this mysterious connection between light and life.

The "Love of Light" is a particular affair that I am diligently, if not rather privately, attached to. Its no secret to designers or patrons of photography that many of us "shooters" are simply in love with light as a subject in itself. Yes, I too stop to stare at sunlight and streetlights for what seems to be endless moments at a time. These galleries are about spaces quiet and loud, that erupt with magical luminance when you least expect it.
